What a crazy weekend for weather! On Saturday I got so many calls from those of you who were snowbound. I'm so glad you chose Cat Country 95-1 to keep you company! Kala in Black Forest called to say they got about 2 feet of snow. Even her Mom's 4 wheel drive couldn't get them out! Joe from Ellicott lost power at home so he and the family headed to the Springs for an unscheduled weekend getaway. Rob and Karen and their kids Jacob, Hannah and Chris stayed home and played Monopoly and listened to Cat Country! The funny part was when Rob landed on Park Place, owned by his wife Karen, just as I started playing Trace Adkins "Marry For Money" (I couldn't have timed it any better)! Good friends Donna, Denise and Sonya spent the weekend "Scrap booking".........By Sunday the sun was out and things started warming up. While Tim in Divide was clearing away the 2 feet of snow in his driveway, Coleen and Ken from Pueblo West called from Pueblo Reservoir to say she was wearing a bikini and he had just popped open a Miller Lite!

By the way, I'm filling in For Jim West all week 3-6PM.

See ya on the radio!

Snowbound?

This is it, the last storm of the year, I'm sure of that!!! If you are snowbound this weekend, just sit home relax and keep your radio on Cat Country 95-1! I'll be on the air on Saturday 10AM- 3PM and on Sunday noon to 3. I will also be on the Cat all next week Monday - Friday 3-6PM for Jim "the Wild Wild" West. As usual, I have a few people I talked to last weekend who I want to say hi to, starting with Neela and Rianna who nearly froze to death during the Easter egg hunt in Woodland Park. Nick who is in the Navy stationed at NORAD, Ramsey from Security (who's favorite song is Jamey Johnson's "In Color"), Aretha from Colorado Springs, and Ann from the Springs! I can't wait to hear from you this weekend. Call me at 52-88-CAT!

Cat listeners are the best!

Thanks to Bob Bosche who filled in for me on Saturday due to a family emergency. When I returned to the airwaves on Sunday I was welcomed back by all of you who called to say hi on "the feline" 52-88-CAT! So let me say hi back to: Billy who was home playing his guitar along with the songs on the radio. Jesse and Jill on the west side of the Springs were heading out to walk their dogs. I talked to Robbie in Fountain who was relaxing in the hot tub loving the songs I played from Taylor Swift and Alan Jackson. Kimberly was going bowling with her kids Justin, Heather and Hannah. Michael and Levi were heading back to the Springs after helping their friend Mark in Peyton put together his new pool table! Cat Country listeners have the MOST FUN! I can't wait for the weekend so I can talk to more of my Cat Country friends!!

see ya on the radio!
