Old Colorado City Cares!

Today (Sunday) is the last day for the "Old Colorado City Cares Charity Drive"! For the past week some 80 businesses in historic Old Colorado City have been giving a portion of their proceeds to help the less fortunate through over 50 charity and non-profit organizations. On Friday afternoon I did a live broadcast on Cat Country 95-1from Mountain Man Nut and Fruit Co. at 25th and Colorado. Thanks to Theresa and Jesse for being such great hosts! I also met the wonderful and generous folks from The Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, Crafty Cow Leatherworks, Taste of New Orleans and many other friendly merchants. It's a beautiful day today, so why don't you take the whole family to historic Old Colorado City to shop, have fun and help the needy right here in the Pikes Peak Region!

You guys are Pawsome!

The very best part about being a personality on Cat Country 95-1 is that I get to talk to so many cool people every weekend on the feline (52-88-CAT)! I want to say hi to a few of my friends who called last weekend. There's Christy and her mom Billie and Christy's daughters Alison and Breanna. Kendel from the Springs who was on her way back to classes at Otero Junior College in La Junta. I talked to Rick who was listening to the Cat as he worked at the video store. Congratulations to six year old Sebastian, who was very excited about winning third place at his wrestling tournament at Peyton Elementary. He made his grandma Bonnie so proud! Stephen called to wish his beautiful girlfriend Shantile a happy birthday. Finally a shout out to Tred who went horseback riding in the Garden of the Gods (how fun) with her friends Janice and Bruce visiting from Garden City Kansas!

What Day Is It?

Hi, I just woke up! Is it really Tuesday? I think I completely missed Monday. What a weekend! Saturday was my birthday and as many of you know every year on my birthday I always spend the entire 24 hours wearing nothing but my birthday suit. I was so glad to finally make it home Saturday night without being arrested, when I was shocked to realize that my friends were throwing me a surprise party! At midnight I was finally able to put my clothes back on (to everyone's relief) and the party continued until about 3AM. Then on Sunday I did my regular on-air shift on Cat Country followed by a shift on another of our Citadel radio stations, then J-Rod called in sick so I did the night shift on Cat Country! I was so tired when the weekend was finally over that I slept for a whole day! Did I miss anything? Well I'm starving. I've got to find something to eat. Is it time for breakfast, lunch or dinner? Oh well ...
